Embedding fonts for Internet Explorer


Note: The method shown here only embeds the letters of the font that are auctually used in the pages. This makes for a smaller file which in turn helps save on downloading time. :)


Create an html file for the page you want the text embedded on. Save it on your computer anywhere you would like. Be sure to specify the font you want to see on the page in the html code where you want it to show up. Here is the one I'll be using: First Page.

Open the program and click on new. You should get a screen that looks like the one below. Once you are there, click on the button that has the 3 dots on it and browse to find the html file we are wanting to use.



After you find the page click on it once to highlite it and then click on open. Your screen should now look like this:



If you have more pages linked to this one and you want the font to be embedded on all of them leave the circled box unchecked. If you only want the font on this page than check the box. Click next, and your window should look like the one below:



On this screen you just want to ignor everything and click next.
